Who is Greg? He is a 62 year old 247 pound man, 5′ 9″ with diabetes. He has struggled with weight and has been adding weight slowly for the last 40 years. For a while he never tested his sugar and he loves a good pancake breakfast. Transforming him to a more healthy future retiree is the goal.
This is planned to be a day to day account of his transformation. This will include his workout, his diet, his setbacks and his results.
Day one is really just getting him to commit to the transformation. He knows that he must make a change. He has a recent grandson and nothing for him is better than seeing him play and grow. The fact is though all previous attempts have with out a doubt be unsuccessful. He has terrible cravings and poor eating habits. He is unaware of food interacts in his body and truly what he should eat to lose weight.
The goal is not to only lose the weight but change his body and metabolism. Also, to allow him to change his body so that he is a calorie burning machine able to eat some of his old favorites from time to time without the worry of gaining back his old weight.
He wants to lose 50 plus pounds and this is definitely going to take some a couple months, possibly even longer without a full commitment. Please follow us as I encourage and track his performance.
